Hi,
I'm Daniel. I've come to Ausrobotics through Ash who's a close friend. I'm a software developer and have been programming since I was a kid, primarily in interpreted languages. I gradudated in Computer Science and Software engineer from Swinburne University in 2002. I'm Development Manager at a software development company in South Melbourne.
I've got no robotics experience to speak of as most of my programming experience has been in business software, but I have a strong understanding of IP networking, relational databasing, data processing and web based software systems.
Cheers,
dan

Hi Dan,

I hope we'll build up a pretty diverse membership here at AusRobotics.

It doesn't matter whether or not you know which end of a soldering iron gets … (…OUCH! Damn, that's hot!) … hot, or if you can write realtime and/or embedded aps, are trying to teach yourself stuff from the ground up (my big project, at the moment) or just like watching cool videos… you're welcome to hang out here.
