Korea's Intelligence Robot Industry Set to Leap Forward

South Korea's National
Assembly has approved the Law on Development and Distribution of Intelligence
Robots, aimed at stimulating robotic development in the country. South Korea is
ranked No. 4 in the world in terms of number of robots and No. 2 in terms of
robot density. The value of its intelligence robotics market is growing at a
clip of over 35 percent a year. The new law is expected to boost demand for
robots and increase investment in the industry by improving the quality of
products, increasing the necessary infrastructure, and producing needed
funding.
