Hi

I’m glad there is an Australian site like this and I hope
it does well. A bit about me – I have been interested in electronics since the
age of about 7, I have a trade certificate 4 in electronics, have had experience
maintaining military radars and I’m currently finishing 2^nd year of
an Electronic Engineering degree at RMIT.

Although I haven’t made any robots from scratch I have been
playing around with my Mindstorms NXT robot and experimenting with coding and adding
extra sensors. I’m mainly interested in the creative design aspect of robotics
and overcoming real world problems.

I’m looking forward to finding out what everyone else is
working on and am happy to help anyone.

I’m also wondering, is a reason why I can’t join the
facebook group? It won’t come up when I search either.

welcome… and re your question about the Facebook group, perhaps you are not in the Australia group? I think you need to be in that to join the AusRobotics group.
