Tiny Hadron Collider – The Beginning Of The End

The final photonic transducers have been mounted into the high voltage channels (I have plugged the LEDs into their bezels) and the technicians (me) are now working on linking up the nodes to their control modules (the wires to the perfboard).
From then we just need to install the voltage regulator circuits (resistors) and then run the data cable to the main control centre (the Arduino connected to my computer).
Oh yeah and we still need to write some software to run the whole shebang.
Destruction is nigh! Let’s take out some shady home loans!
I’m just too optimistic.
What with this being the C21 and not C17, I was thinking there would be no big deal made of the LHC like there was for the hydrogen bomb (newspapers touted the possibility fusing H in a bomb might cause a chain-reaction in the atmosphere).
But today most of the deli’s and shops I’ve been into has seen the lady behind the counter worried that the world was about to end.
(Since I can never let a chance pass me by, I took the oppotunity to write up a few anti-asteroid-collission policies).
