New site and current site
I meant to mention the other day that I have finally fixed up the new site and it is now progressing well again (and displaying in all relevant browsers as far as I can see).
At one point I thought I might be able to complete dev on it by the Sunday just gone but I ran out of time due to some unexpected integration hiccups (I upgraded to Wordpress 2.6 which broke the forum integration again because they keep changing their cookie format).

Please note that I am just about to reinstall Wordpress 2.5.1 to fix the integration issue so the site may be up and down and all over the place this week.
Also my web host has had some down and extremely slow time this week so if you have been having trouble reaching ausrobotics, that’s the reason.
In robot news I went to hook up my xbees for some proper testing only to find that they have a different pin spacing from most of my stuff…. damn

I like the “wide” layout.
I do like phpBB though, not sure the forum there is as easier to quickly navigate. That said it is pretty good as it is.

OK. Managed to make a comment, and it says “1 user logged on” (I presume guest) when I’m doing it, but the login page refused to let me login. And it also refused to give me a new password. Sounds like it knows me to start with.
Hehe sorry, forgot to mention that I had to blow away the entire DB in the end because it automatically upgraded it when I installed Wordpress 2.6. That’s why you couldn’t log in.
For testing you can sign in using:
user: test
pass: test1234
That will give you enough to start posting stuff and seeing how it works. Note that the visual editor is currently disabled for some reason and it will look a lot nicer once I get it turned back on.
I’ll run the sync script tomorrow when I get home from work.
