Site news

Just a quick site update:

  • Murray successfully tested the wifi module on his robot – looking good! (I have added the feed now)
  • Kym assembled his Robo-11 and built a mini segway out of one of his Microbric kits – extra marks if your beer droid only has 2 wheels :)
  • I wrote up quick review on the Arduino Diecimila (find it here)
  • I bought some polymorph from Jaycar – custom parts here I come!
  • Lots of new people joined – hello! :)

Also, I have added a new ‘Introductions’ section to the Forum so if you are new and you would like to let everyone know what sort of stuff you are interested in that’s the place to do it. I’ll move the older posts into there everntually.

Also, also, currently member blogs are disabled for most people. If you would like to have one to write about what you are up to then let me know with a forum post. I am still working out some of the default permissions for the site so just ask and stuff will probably happen.

Also I am working on getting a wiki set up. I think that will make it easier for everyone to edit stuff together instead of going through whatever weird group-editing solution Drupal (the CMS AusRobotics uses) offers.
